The monograph is devoted to the asymptotic analysis of three-dimensional, linearly elastic structures that consist of several joined components of thickness ε->0, which is assumed to be small. The goal of the analysis is to derive lower-dimensional limiting models as the thickness ε→0. While the results presented are neither new nor the strongest possible, the book is nevertheless the first systematic treatment of the asymptotic analysis of multistructures, where the author has made substantial contributions. As a rule, complete proofs are given and a lucid exposition and clear presentation of the mathematical techniques underlying the derivation of the limiting models are emphasized.
